Objectives of the course:

After completion of this course the student a) has knowledge of the various possibilities and methods of presenting information visually (through static or interactive graphics), b) is able to critically reflect on various aspects of the graphical presentation of information, and c) is able to comment critically on problems and challenges in the young field of “Information Visualization”.
